In 2021, was 65 cases per 100,000 people. Though Solomon Islands’ incidence of TB has fluctuated substantially in recent years, it tended to decrease through the 2002-2021 period, ending at 65 cases.

In 2022, Delft Imaging delivered a Delft Light portable backpack X-ray system to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in the Solomon Islands. As a remote island, the Delft Light portable backpack X-ray system is ideally suited to support TB screening in remote areas. In the same project, the CAD4TB artificial intelligence software was delivered, which will help the automated detection of TB-related abnormalities on the chest X-rays made throughout the project. To ensure a successful delivery, installation and training services were provided.
