The Republic of Moldova, in 2020, had a total population of approximately 4 million people. That same year, there were an estimated 3,000 people who developed TB. Among them, 140 were children. Moreover, there were 1,233 missing people with TB, of which 84 were children.

In 2021, Delft Imaging delivered the first CAD4TB software to Moldova. CAD4TB uses artificial intelligence to screen tuberculosis-related abnormalities on chest X-ray images rapidly. The project featured installation and training support.

Later that same year, another three sites in Moldova received the CAD4TB software, again with installation and training services.
