In 2021, Georgia had a total population of approximately 3.7 million people. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, Georgia has been steadily making significant progress towards eradicating TB, with a decrease of 68.2% since 2000. The TB incidence rate in Georgia decreased from 2.8 cases per 100,000 persons in 2019 to 2.1 cases per 100,000 in 2020.

In 2019, Delft Imaging delivered one CAD4TB unit to Georgia to be fitted in mobile screening clinics to support TB screening nationwide. The project came with onsite installation and training. Later, in 2022, an additional two CAD4TB units were added to support the project.
