In 2020, Ecuador had a population of approximately 17.5 million people. In that same year, 8,500 estimated people developed TB in Ecuador. Among them, 560 were children. Moreover, there were 3,232 missing people with TB, including 406 children.
In 2022, Delft Imaging delivered one Delft Light portable backpack X-ray system with one CAD4TB artificial intelligence software solution to the Ministerio de Salud Pública del Ecuador (Ministry of Public Health). The project was delivered with the relevant installation, training and service & support services.
An EasyDR was deployed in Ecuador in 2024.
